Mission

Frais’ mission is to improve the health and welfare of travelers, business people and families. More than 80% of cases of infectious illnesses are spread by the hands, according to the Centers for Disease Control (2007).  The Mayo Clinic (2007) reports that alcohol-based hand sanitizers are actually more effective than soap and water in killing bacteria and viruses that cause disease.

History

Michael and Robert invented Frais in 2006 during a tour of Cambodia’s stunning Angkor Wat temple complex.  Trying to keep themselves healthy in Cambodia, they simply could not understand why the process of regular hand sanitizing had to be so clinical and unpleasant when the Earth provides many amazing plant essences.  They worked with chemists in the United States to make an elegant-feeling non-toxic sanitizer, and recruited essential oil experts in Australia to create a sensuous moisturizing oil blend.  Customers all over the world love the result, Frais Les Huit Hand Sanitizer.  Take good care of yourself, and try Frais today!

Robert has spent over fourteen years building highly successful entrepreneurial organizations. Prior to developing Frais, Robert was an early member of the Yahoo! team, designing and managing Yahoo's pioneering patented advertising systems. Previously, Robert spent six years managing manufacturing quality at the Ericsson Raynet telecommunications venture.

Robert holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University; an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of California, Irvine; a B.S. in Cognitive Science and a B.A. in Semiotics from Brown University. Robert's specializations are consumer behavior, large scale data analysis, entrepreneurism and product development.

With a strong practical business sense and an attitude for “breaking new ground”, Michael’s passion and breadth have positioned him nicely to direct Frais Luxury Products. For fourteen years, Michael was employed by distinguished multi-national companies such as Ernst & Young, Honeywell and Moët Hennessey. Michael then decided to apply his corporate experience to his own entrepreneurial ventures. These included the transformation of a dated Sydney French restaurant into a thriving modern Australian eatery, and a Human Resources consulting business focused on staff motivation, retention, and innovative programs rewarding employee loyalty. Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree at the University of Technology, Sydney.
